New Year's Eve Nail Art - Take Two - FIREWORKS and Quando è Solo per Te n. 21 SWATCH and Happy New Year Dedication for You!!!

I have to confess that I am probably getting unexpectedly a little obsessed with doing nail art on my or anyone's nails..I have so much fun doing it that I wanna do it all the time, and I just basically try to get everyone stepping on my door involved.
I also have to honestly tell, but you probably already knew it, that I ended up hating my former nail art for new year's eve. The main reason can be because I unfortunately usually get very affected by other people's comments and opinions, and I realized that people around me didn't like it. Also, it wasn't really me, with all that sparkle and serious coloring.
So today I just took it off and did my mani over again, so here's my second take on NEW YEAR'S EVE NAIL ART!! This isn't original at all, but I felt like I liked it and could easely do it. Coloured FIREWORKS!!! :D
I've been told that's funny but not elegant, and also (from the same person that yesterday told me my first look seemed some dirt on my nails) that it doesn't look like fireworks at all, cause they're not to be designed that way since we don't understand that they actually are supposed to be fireworks.
Lukely this time I like it enough not to care about comments, but they don't make me happy.
I wasn't content with all of my nails, cause in some it just looked like a confused mess, so after the first pics, I redid like 2 or 3 of them in each hand.
The idea has been to pain my nails blue like the sky, then to give a coat of golden or silver sparkles, and at the end drow fireworks (just following the instructions I gave you on the first post and that I found on my nailart pens info paper, so yes, that's how they are supposed to be done, a man can't know it better), by using some glitter coloured pens.
The problem has been that sparkling glitter on the background, ment to represent stars in the sky, messed up with fireworks design and gave the final look a lot of confusion. A few fingers are made differently, and I just dotted on the blue pattern with yellow and glittery white to represent the stars, and this turned out to be better, so I decided to re-do this way the nails that looked worse at the beginning.
This post also means to be a swatch of the blue polish I houled last:
Quando è Solo per Te n. 21
I'm crazy for it!!!! It's love!!! It is the most amazing blue I have ever seen, and it's a sexy slighlty sparkly electrical blue, very lightning, very creamy, very easy to paint. It looks complete even plain, and someday I will wear it all by itself. Here you see it:
While I have painted some other nails with a couple of sparkling light blues I found on my nailart pens/polishes box, but I like the first one better, so later on I ended up painting more nails with it.
So here's the final look, with fireworks of different glittery and sparkly colours, before I'd modify some nails:
And these are the nails I did without glitter, just by dotting the stars out,
and which I found more organized and neat, so I reproduced it on other nails too.
This is the final ultimate look, after modifying:
So, which look did you like better? former one for new year's eve, or this one? the one with sparkles or ehe one with dotted stars?
Do you think it shows that they are fireworks? do think that's funny or classy?
Don't you too absolutely adore this blue I swatched?
I WISH YOU ALL A SUPER HAPPY AND SWEET NEW YEAR'S EVE, AND A NEW YEAR FULL OF FULFILLED DREAMS YOU WISH!!!!! I'LL TALK TO YOU IN 2013!! :D

ELEGANT YET PLAIN NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY NAIL ART FOR A MOTHER - Smaltino Beauty Line Vallari Fashion N. 16 Swatch

This mini polish is a pearly dark pink, almost like a redish bronzed skin colour. It is very glamourous in my opinion and has some goldie flashes.
I did my mother's nails with it, as she wanted something not too much but very elegant fof new year's eve. I really loved the final look, here's the swatch:
Not too dark, not too natural, it makes a perfect middle way, eye catching shade. Afterwords we just agreed on some little sparkly silver dots on the nail's corner, and this is the final look, which I really love, it has a wounderful light in it, it sparkles so nicely, and those tiny dots are a touch that makes it original but yet simple:
Hope you guys like it! ;)

SWATCH SMALTINO BEAUTY LINE VALLARI FASHION n.25 - AND ELEGANT LADY NAIL ART FOR NEW YEAR'S EVE

Hey there my amazing followers! :)
Today has been consacrated to nail art too, in prep for new year's eve, yey! Things seem to get better (never say it too loud) as a couple of my parent's friends that I consider like family are here to celebrate with us, and tomorrow most probably a couple of youger (in their 30s-40s) friends of mine and of my parent's are joining the party!! Also my flu is slowly leaviing me in peace, although my voice is still the one of a cave man.. First thing I'm going to show is yesterday's geometrical shaped nail art I did without scotch tape on my mum's friend's hand, where I added some white thin stripes to surround each colour, and I felt like it was more complete and organized and pretty that way. Do you agree?
Anyway, she didn't feel at ease with that nail art, so we changed it right away, into something really really simple, maybe too much for me, and first of all here's the swatch of SMALTINO BEAUTY LINE VALLARI FASHION n.25 I've told you about, among one of my last hauls. Here it is:
And it's an adorable very light, almost white, fleshy pink, very natural. I bought it to use it for my french or natural looks. It makes you hands and nails look very natural but fairly cared of. Here's how it looks when weared.
Then she just wanted to keep it very simple and elegant for New Year's Eve, so I just added a couple of tiny flowers here and there.
Hope you like it! :)

FIRST NAIL ART ON A MAN

There are a couple of my brother's friends here too, and I made a bet with one of them. He basically challenged me to "Fruit Ninja" on his pad, and if I'd win he'd let me make a design on one of his nails, and if he'd win, I'd pay a candle light dinner, with my brother included in it too :)
Thing is, he beated me sooooo many times, and a couple of matches finished even, but I insisted to play untill I'd win at least one, so I managed to make this nail art on him :) Now I owe him soooo many dinners, and I was so pityful that I have already given him nail polish remover and the permission to take it off (he asked my help for that cause he didn't know how to do it), but at least I got him to wear it for maybe one hour, and to let me take a pic of it to show you guys here.
He picked the colours and I decided to drow a heart. My first nail art on a man's hand!!;D I also tricked him telling that the sèche vite I top coated it with was in fact something permanent that denied him to take it off, and he got soooo mad, I had troubles explaining that I was lying..and when I removed it, he looked at me and said: "That easy?" :)

GEOMETRICAL SHAPES NAIL ART - WITHOUT SCOTCH TAPE

So today my mom's friend arrived, and I right away involved her into being my nail art test subject (or guinea pig if you prefer), so as she wanted something simple, I've tried this on her, but without scotch tape (I'm too lazy for that), so I just designed lines with my pens and filled in with colour:
And this is the result (I'm not responsable for the colours she choose):
(Don't let these pics trick you, it's my face there but not my hand :) it's the lady's hand, sitting next to me and not wanting to show her face).
She, her hubby and everyone else, didn't seem to like that on a lady's hand, so we've planned on a more elegant one for New Year's Eve. I'll let you know.
Personally, despite the colours which are very strong, I quite liked it cause it's simple yet funny but not too childish.
I hope I'll make my mother's and another friend of her with very short biten nails (I'm excited on the challange) tomorrow, and I'll upload them here.
Good night for now :)

At Least I'll have My Nails Painted - New Year's Eve Design - Twin Post w/ Lynette (Pink and Purple Dots)

My dears, this time New Year's Eve perspective is awful: my brother will be elsewhere, all of the usual friends that were accostumed to come here and party with us, can't make it this time, my few friends neither, no partner as usual, and my neighbour here will probably be in another town - aka: I'll spend it with my parents and a couple of their friends. I don't want to go back to town to join some parties because I want to be in the mountain and it would be tiring, and I know new year's eve parties over stress me for they are never as fun as one would expect them to be, also, yesterday I took a flu and now I feel (and look) like a throwed away napkin..So I have decided that at least I'll have my nails painted!! If we have to face a shitty party time, at least we'll do it with some style!! Making my nails always makes me feel amused and happy, and wearing them makes me smile each time I look at them, so, learning from my fellow nail blogger friend Ananka, I'll proudly wear my nailart, even if the occasion's not one of the best.
Also, this time I'm excited cause it's gonna be special, and the reasons are:
- This is going to be my first, never expected, (and maybe last one) original creative nail art!!
- This is a TWIN POST with my fellow blogger and nail art friend Lynette!! Check out her post too as she welcomed the new year by doing something new, and she did a splendid job, so elegant and glamourous!! I adore her!
Sooo here is it!! Please tell me what you think but be nice, and if you want to wear it on New Year's Eve please let me know and send me a pic!!
I've been thinking of how to do it a lot, and made some internet research. I didn't want to offer you something you could find even without my post in other billions blogs (I've noticed an amount of similar or identical nail arts for different occasions around the internet), but at same time I wanted to keep it simple, because my first idea was too complicated and it didn't came out nicely or even fairly understandable.
At the end this is somehow banal but I am a beginner and I had some troubles doing that too, and other stuff I would have found even more hard to paint. I also find it very night party like and in a way funny because of the count down-new year numbers. It is a little different from how I had planned because I like matching black and red better then putting too much gold glitter.
Separating the nail into 2 different coloured parts throught a diagonal line, represents the passage to a new day/year. :)
These are some pics, light is not good but I'll try and make some more pics tomorrow in the sun:
HOW TO DO THAT AND WHAT I HAVE USED:
- BASE COAT ALL YOUR NAILS AND LET IT DRY
- PAINT ALL OF YOUR NAILS BLACK
- WITH A DARK SPARKLING RED NAILART PEN DROW A DIAGONAL LINE ON THE TIP OF ALL YOUR NAILS
- FILL UPPER PART WITH SILVER SPARKLES, YOU CAN DO IT WITH YOUR NAIL ART PEN OR EVEN WITH A REGULAR POLISH BRUSH
- WITH A GOLDEN YELLOW NAIL ART PEN WRITE COUNT DOWN NUMBERS (AS WHEN YOU ARE WAITING FOR MIDNIGHT AT A NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY) FROM 3 TO 0 ON YOUR LEFT HAND NAILS FROM PINKY TO INDEX FINGER, ON THE BOTTOM BLACK PART OF YOUR NAIL
- DO THE SAME ON YOUR RIGHT HAND NAILS, BUT THIS TIME WRITE THE NEW YEAR'S NUMBERS FROM INDEX FINGER TO PINKY NAIL, AND YOU WILL NOTICE THAT CYPHERS ARE THE SAME
- ON YOUR LEFT THUMB DROW A CLOCK POINTING MIDNIGHT HOUR, ON THE LOWER AND BLACK PART, STARTING WITH A BIG FULL WHITE IMPRECIZE DOT THAT YOU WILL LATER SURROUND WITH A COLOURED CIRCLE.
- ON YOUR RIGHT THUMB DROW SOME FIREWORKS WITH A GOLDEN YELLOW NAIL ART PEN AND ANOTHER COLOUR OF YOUR CHOICE, JUST BY DRAWING CURVED LINES RADIATING OUT FROM A CENTER POINT, AND THEN DRAWING STRAIGHTER LINES ALTERNATE TO THE FIRSTS.
- TOP COAT, AND YOU'RE DONE! :) Hope you enjoyed, please let me know.
BTW, yesterday I sketched my nails with some trials, some came out nice, but the idea was too complicated. Baically I wanted to reproduce on my nails a saying we have that on new year's eve you need to wear:
something red
something blue
something new - and this would have been a new day represented by an uprising sun painted with a new polish I own
something old - and the image I was so proud of was the one of some old object throwed away in a garbage can, from a window (in Italy we have this tradition of throwing old stuff from the window on new year's eve, to symbolize the fact of leaving certain facts behind us) painted with an old polish of mine
something borrowed - and the image would have been of a kiss under the birdlime, painted with a polished I would have borrowed from my mom
something gifted to you by someone else - and the image would have been of a wrapped gift box painted with a polish I was given as a gift
Also, another saying states that on new year's eve you have to eat lentils or peas, or in Spain grape, in order to ingratiate money for new year - and the image would have been of veggie dots
We also know that in this occasion people use to make good wishes or intents - and the image would have been of a heart inside a thinking cloud just as in comics.

greenish natural nail

I don't know why, if it's for my green polish, which I'm not wearing since a few weeks ago, or if it's cause of my new Metal Rush one, for some green designs I've made with my nailart pens (the ones you sow in here, and ALWAYS with a base coat), or just because lately I've been painting my nails a lot, with several coats and barely with some pauses between the one and the next one, but one of my nails turned green..like, it has a greenish spot which doesn't come off with remover..In this pic it really doesn't show but..what do you think it is and how could I remove it?

SWATCH: Smaltino Beauty Line Professional Vallari Fashion n. 50 and 58

When I first bought those laquers I was totally convinced that they were the same thing, and I just wanted to use one of them for a swap. Later, at home, I discovered that they were numbered differently, so I decided to keep them both.
This turned out to be a good decision because when swapping time came I could go shopping just thinking of the tastes of the girl I was swapping with ;) (you know who you are baby!:D)
Anyway, it took me a long and serious observing and study to decide, just by looking at the bottles, which was the difference among the two, while my mom kept on saying that the producer made a mistake in writing numbers, as they are so similar, and that in the end they are the same product.
Today I decided to try them on for a swatch, and to paint my two broken nails of my left hand with the colour I thought I would have liked worse, and to paint my right hand with alternate colours in alternate fingers. The result is that, only in certain moments, I belive to notice the difference among them, but once I'm sure that one is darker, and the next moment I state that the other one is..
Anyways, even if being the same colour, I am helplessly in LOVE with it! It's a shiny and very pearly purple, with some dark pink stripes in it (you see them through the bottle), that when you put it on melt together and give it this light purple colour with pink lights in it when you move your fingers under the light.
Lightning in the pics is bad but, what do you guys think? what's your opinion about the colours difference?
THOSE ARE THE TWO BOTTLES AND SOME OF THE NAILS I PAINTED WITH EACH ONE:
AND HERE MY HANDS PAINTED WITH BOTH COLOURS IN DIFFERENT NAILS:
At the end I tried, from a tutorial on the instrucion paper of my nail art pens, a firework design, just because I'm in the creative process for my New Year's Eve twin design with Lynette..but I won't tell you more.. ;) (After a long time it wasn't dry yet, and just as my mother did earlier, I totally ruined it, and now I fixed it but it's not the same, more gross now..I can't remember if I used Seche Vite this time, but I of course used top coat).
